5 Mistakes You should not do in Freelancing

5 Mistakes You should not do in Freelancing:

5. Not reading the TOS (Terms Of Service)

User Agreement and assistance articles. This is a popular error that results in many people getting banned from Freelancing sites for breaking the TOS or dealing with other unnecessary headaches. Before you submit even one proposal or respond to one invitation, you need to know what you can and can't do on the platform and how everything works. It will save you a ton of frustration.

4. Submitting too many proposals

This gets a lot of people banned. Desperate or excited to get working, many newbies submit a flood of proposals in a short span of time for any and every job they think they can do. But this signals to Freelance sites that the quality of your proposals may be low or you're applying for the job you're not well-qualified for. Only apply for the jobs you're most interested in (and that are in your niche).

3. Focusing on themselves

In profiles and proposals, many newbies think the way to go is talking about themselves, their experience, their education, their passions, etc. Often, this is not the primary thing clients care about. Instead of focusing on yourself you have to provide them the screenshots of your reviews and if you are new and you don't have any review you should provide them a free sample of your work and if they like it, they will definitely hire you.

2. Not picking a niche

Some reason that the more services they offer, the better chance they have of landing at least some clients. However, this won't get you, good clients, in most cases. The best clients are more often looking for specialists, experts in a certain area.

1. Offering cheap prices

Offering very cheap prices “just to get started” because they have no Freelance work history. Having no Freelancing site's experience or professional experience is often not as big a deal as people think it is. If you position yourself in a way that demonstrates your expertise, exudes confidence, and shows your concern for clients, you can win jobs at a decent or even a high rate from the start.
